If you have been checking out the website and Facebook, you might have noticed that our students have been involved in creating morning announcements in video format.  The 5th graders, last week, took the opportunity to interview the Grand Marshal of the stock show and display it for the entire school.  There are almost endless possibilities of how this technology will be used. Students love to watch what other students have created, and they also enjoy being mentioned in the morning announcements for the good work that they are doing in the classrooms.  In addition to the morning announcements, we have also added a special treat for our ROAR award winners.  Each month the ROAR awards for excellence in Core Virtues are collected and names are drawn.  Students from each grade are then able to have “Lunch with the Principal”.  Students in grades six through eight get to have “Sonic with the Principal”.   I would like to thank the many students that have been making our school such an amazing place to be. The first lunch was a big success and I look forward to being able to get to spend some time with each group of winners in the future.
