PTCO & Volunteering
Our Parent Teacher Community Organization (PTCO) is vital to the Legacy Academy community by supporting its families and staff to enhance the educational experience and deeper relationships through various events and activities.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to volunteer for field trips and help teachers in the classroom. We are required to have background checks on file for all volunteers and chaperones. Please bring your Driver's License to the front office with a $6.00 processing fee so that we can perform a background check. If you are wanting to volunteer to drive students to and from games, we will also need the Declaration Page of your auto insurance. It must show that you have at least 100K bodily injury per person/300K bodily injury per accident. Doing the background check counts as 1 hour of volunteer time.
