My name is Renee McCloud and I am the Reading Interventionist here at Legacy! Previously, I have taught kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th grades. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and my K-12 Reading Endorsement. In addition, I have coached high school and middle school boys/girls basketball for the last 15+ years.
My family and I have lived in Colorado for five years, after moving from Iowa, where I am originally from! I have been married to my husband for 24 years and we have seven children; ages 15-23. In addition, we are welcoming our first grandchild in January! My "free" time is spent chasing our youngest two sons around and cheering for them in their high school sports.
I love teaching and working with kids of all ages! My greatest joy is helping a student who is struggling learn and gain confidence, especially in reading. .

Hiking, being at the beach or pool, camping, coaching, supporting my children in any way possible, spending time with my husband.
