Hello! My name is Amy Lunt. My college education consists of a Business Management degree along with an Information Technology / Multimedia Design degree. I am currently finishing up my Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. I spent 16 years in corporate retail management. However, this is my 10th year in education. I am excited to be teaching Math here at Legacy Academy! I am married with 2 daughters. My husband and I both currently work in education, except he is at the higher education level. We have resided here in Elizabeth since 2012. I enjoy teaching Math to all ages. I have taught and tutored elementary math, middle school math, Algebra I and II, Statistics, and Pre-Calculus. In my spare time I enjoy reading or listening to audiobooks while enjoying a great cup of coffee and sitting outside if the weather is nice! Some of my favorite things in life besides math and reading are Star Wars, Marvel, and Hello Kitty! During the summers I enjoy heading to the mountains, spending time with family, watching my niece swim for a competitive swim team, and volunteering at the Denver Cherry Blossom Festival. I also volunteer my time with the Japanese American Resource Center of Colorado (JARCC). Life is short! Don’t let it pass you by without enjoying every second of it particularly with the ones who mean the most.
