I was born in Denver, Colorado in 1950 - a Baby Boomer. I was an average but creative child. I attended public school and then collage at Western State Collage in Gunnison, Colorado. I received a degree in Art and Elementary Education.
My first job after collage was as a Design Draftsman. After that time I took time to raise two sons.
When my youngest entered school full days I became an Early Childhood Educator. After several years, I became a public school Substitute Teacher in all grades and special education. I also volunteered in several organizations as well. Eventually, I discovered that I enjoyed being an Art Facilitator within a variety of non-profit communities. I enjoyed allowing the children to create art while developing some positive communal traits (i.e. creative discovery and community harmony).
I am now enjoying being able to share those things with the Homeschool Program.
