Socaena Bennett was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Florida. While in high school, she was introduced to musical theatre and instantly fell in love. She performed as Sally Brown in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown and Mrs. White in Clue: The Musical. After spending a few years in community college, she decided to take the leap and move to Colorado in 2021 to attend the University of Northern Colorado and pursue her dream of becoming a drama teacher. During her time at UNC, she was able to perform as Lily in The Book Club Play and direct a one-act called Why We Tell Love Stories. Socaena just recently graduated from the University of Northern Colorado and currently lives in Colorado with her husband and two kitties Nyx and Tux. Socaena is looking forward to her first year of teaching and helping the kids embrace their creativity and be their most authentic selves!
