I have a BS of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a Master of Technology Management from the University of Denver. I worked as an engineer for seven years at U S West/Qwest Communications. My teaching experience includes six years of substitute teaching, and this is my twelfth year of middle school advanced math instruction at Legacy Academy. I am also a big believer in the value of youth sports and am happy to be the Athletic Director for middle school sports at Legacy. 

I have two wonderful children, both of whom attended Legacy K-8th grades. My son just graduated with degrees in Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering and is working as an engineer and my daughter graduated from CSU last May with majors in Economics and Statistics with and minors in Math and Geo and Environmental Science. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree at UT Austin. I believe there is no greater personal compliment to this outstanding school than the fact that I entrusted my own children’s foundational education to it. It is an amazing school that believes in challenging all students and building strong character. I am excited to be with Legacy Academy for what I am sure will be another great year of teaching math to awesome students.
