I am a retired Physical Education/Health Teacher and School Counselor, enjoying a career rebirth at Legacy. It is such a great place to be for students and adults alike. I grew up in Michigan, attended Western Michigan University and Michigan State. After several years of staying home with 2 young boys, I finally returned to school and achieved my BA in Physical Education and Athletic Training from Metropolitan State University in Denver. With many years of teaching, I returned to school for an MA in School Counseling at the University of Phoenix which has been very rewarding. I coached Track, Cross Country and Volleyball for many years at the Middle and High School level, which was really enjoyable.

I have lived in Elbert County for 27 years on a small "ranchette" with many dogs and horses. I really enjoy working around the yard, riding, and hanging out with friends and family. I have 2 delightful grown sons, one here in Colorado and one in Southern California.
