Hi! I'm Amy, my students call me "Miss Amy". I am a mama to 3 boys and a lab puppy and my favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip. My idea of a great day is a run or a hike, a quiet house, cozy blanket, a mug of warm coffee, and a terrific book. I am a certified reading specialist with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I have taught for over 8 years combined. I have taught 4th grade, technology education, homeschool community outreach programs, private tutoring and online reading tutoring. I am passionate about books and helping kids to love reading and to feel confident in it. I'm otherwise an extrovert but reading is my favorite introvert activity. I am new to Colorado and excited to be a part of a robust reading program at Legacy!
