Paraprofessional

I’m a born-and-raised Army Brat. I’ve moved in and out of the country a lot, but spent most of my childhood and early adult life in Georgia. I’ve been married to my super-fantastic husband for 13 years. We have 2 boys who have both been students at Legacy Academy since Kindergarten. We moved to Elizabeth in 2011 and have really enjoyed the sense of community here. We are lucky to call this town our home. I got my start at Legacy as a volunteer Room Parent and, later, volunteered to do weekly crafts in 1st grade and became known to some as “The Craft Lady”. I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to work as a part-time Paraprofessional and am thrilled to now be working with the students full-time. I truly love what I do, the people I work with, and watching the students connect the dots while learning. My experience at Legacy has inspired me to further my own education, in the near future, so that I may, hopefully, make a greater positive impact on the students' lives.
