I am a Colorado native. I was born in Denver, attended Kindergarten in Sterling and K-8 in Limon, Colorado. I graduated Gateway H.S. in Aurora, Colorado. I did not attend college my first year after high school. I obtained a real estate license at age 19 and used my first commission to follow my best friend and high school flame to the University of Northern Colorado where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education-Social Studies.

After graduating college, I realized Social Studies teachers were not in high demand so I substituted and went back to selling and appraising real estate to make ends meet. To become more marketable, I became highly qualified in mathematics.
I was a contract teacher in Yuma, Co, Denver Public Schools, the Colorado Department of Corrections, Adams County 14 & 50 School Districts, and Aurora Public Schools. I have coached football, wrestling, track and baseball.
I earned a Master's Degree in Education Leadership & Policy Studies which afforded me the opportunity to become a Dean of Students for Aurora Public Schools which leads me to Legacy Academy as your new Vice Principal.
I have two grown college educated children. My daughter and her husband has blessed me with a grandson; and hopefully more to follow. My son works and travels with the Colorado Rapids as their Senior Equipment Manager.
I am excited for this new chapter in my life and to be part of the Legacy community.

Activities & Hobbies:
I enjoy sitting on my front porch, or around a campfire, pickin' a song on my guitar or ukulele. I dabble in woodworking and carving. Spending the day on the golf course is always a welcomed activity.
But my favorite activity is spending time with family and friends!
