Overview:
This club is for 4th-8th grade students (boys and girls). It will consist of workouts 2 days/week as well as the option to participate in 2-3 middle school track meets and a few other running competitions throughout the spring. Participation in the competitive events will be optional and will be pay-as-you-go (you will pay the individual entry fee for the meets/competitions your runner will participate in). The focus will be on distance running events, but participants are welcome to try out other events at the meets (we don't have a track or all of the equipment for all track events).
Dates: The season will begin on Tuesday, March 26th and end on Thursday, May 9th.
Practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-5:00 pm
Cost: $50 (plus individual meet/competition entry fees)
Bring:
A full water bottle, runnning clothes (for cold and warm weather), and a great attitude!
